H&T Presspart opened on September 17 the new plant for the production of systems for the administration of drugs and pharmaceutical components in L’Arboç (Tarragona). The president of the Chamber of Commerce of Tarragona Laura Roigé and Kirsty Bourner representing the Glaxo Smith Kline client were present. With this investment, H&T Presspart Tarragona has established itself as a leading manufacturer of inhalers to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Thomas Portune, General Director of H&T Presspart Tarragona, explains the importance of this investment. “We are inaugurating a modern, digital and highly automated factory. Its capable of producing more than 300 Million units of pharmaceutical components per year. This will help improve the lives of patients suffering from lung diseases worldwide.
