CPQ Ingenieros is an engineering company located in Barcelona. Since 1980 it is developing engineering projects for the best companies in the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnological, food processing and cosmetics industries, both on the Iberian Peninsula and overseas.

CPQ Ingenieros is dedicated in the design of processing plants in all its breadth: from the basic process, across all disciplines, including the detailed engineering, project management, supervision of construction work, assistance in the start up process and the legalisations.

In front of the management and direction of the company are: Albert Francesch and Manel Vidal, both of them with an extensive professional experience having more than 6,000 projects carried out to date.

Structure

CPQ Ingenieros is organized as follows:

General Management

Its function is to ensure the correct operation of CPQ Ingenieros, in its commercial, technical and financial areas.

Technical Management

Having the purpose of ensuring technical quality in the projects, this department includes the specialties of CAD, climate control, instrumentation, equipment, mechanics, process engineering, electricity and control, civil works and structures.

Production Management

It encompasses all the workforce involved in the running of projects and is supported by a team of project coordinators and project technicians, designers and modelers, technical assistance, site supervision and legalizations.

 

Depending on the project’s characteristics and industrial sector, the most suitable project director will be designated to the project, according to their experience in the sector, whether they have worked in similar projects, etc. For each project there is an appointee in charge of the resource management necessary to meet the targets set.

Human Resources

The basic permanent staff of CPQ Ingenieros consists of 65 employees, in addition to the usual collaborators in various complementary specialities.

History

With its vast professional experience spanning over 35 years, CPQ Ingenieros is one of the best equipped companies on a professional and technical level to tackle any project in the Chemical Industry.

1980

CPQ Ingenieros, founded by Jaume Cisa and Josep María Mach starts its activity in Barcelona.

1985

After years of constant growth, the company moves its offices to Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes de Barcelona.

1993

CPQ Ingenieros carries out its first project abroad.

2008

Transfer to the current offices, located in the innovation district 22@, in an attic in Sancho d’Àvila Street in Barcelona.

2013

Award of the ISO 9001 certificate for the design, realization of projects and engineering studies in the pharmaceutical. chemical, cosmetic and food industries.

2015

Collaborating partnership in Madrid (AC Ingenieros) with the aim of strengthening CPQ Ingenieros’ presence in the central area of Spain

2017

CPQ Ingenieros implements BIM technology in their projects, supported by Revit, AutoCAD, Plant3D and Navisworks software
